You've carved out a space that bridges the darker edges of garage with heavier club sounds, do you see yourself leaning further into one side, or is that contrast where the magic happens for you?

Wicked question, I enjoy making all sorts really and get inspired by all walks of music so my best pieces of work and sets are often the ones where I’m not aiming so specifically for a certain genre

There’s a distinct energy to your remixes, playful but heavy, familiar but unexpected. What draws you to a track and makes you think: “I need to flip this”?

It’s usually the vocal that grabs my attention as I kinda instantly think ‘oh I can put a spin on that’, but I never try steer to far away from the original as that’s the reason I liked the track in the first place

You’ve built a proper following in the underground, what’s been the most surreal moment so far where you’ve thought, “yeah, this is really happening”?

This is a tough one, as I’m constantly thinking how on earth have you managed that but kettama spinning ‘I SEMPA’ at Boomtown to a few thousand takes the biscuit

As someone deeply rooted in UK club culture, what’s one sound, scene or city that’s currently inspiring you outside of your usual sphere?

Outside of the heavy stuff there’s a proper nice emergence of this Jackin House / Garage type tunes coming from the likes of Sulphur & Cottam, as well as whatever the hell is in the water in Australia currently those guys are makin BEATS
